The tutorials show you how to prepare fields, seed them, and harvest them. I strongly recommend playing through at least several of the tutorials before you jump right in, because like games of yesteryear, there is no "hold-your-hand" and "everybody-wins" introduction. The game plunks you down in front of a cozy looking home overlooking your farm: a compliment of empty sheds, barns, and a field ready for harvesting. Really enjoying this game a totally different experience from anything else I've played on the PC.
